On the verge of the twentieth anniversary of the legendary album Enter The Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers, EliteTV sat down with founding Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon. In the first of three parts of this interview, Raekwon speaks about the upcoming Wu-Tang Clan album, A Better Tomorrow, which is slated to drop later this year.

Raekwon makes a point here. This might be their last, and the title of the album should speak of itself. It is great that he brings his perspective of how things should be done. I want a great album from the wu, but they have to get all of the ingredients together in order to make their best album of all. All members have to be on point on all levels to make this possible. I hope this works out for the members.

I 1000 Percent agree with Rae cuz this album needs to be on point. the last album wasn’t good at all and this is the 20th year for the WU, it should be NO guess on the album, Rza need to get back on his beat making not the bs beats he put on in the last some what yrs. they all need to get together for this album NO sending versus to each other. Like I said im proud of Rza for what he doin now with the movie stuff. BUT he need to get back on his issh, no more of the hiphop hippy beats

I stand with the CHEF all day. Where in the hell is Takitha, Blue Rasberry, somebody need to rehab Shyheim’s flow, pull him back in and write a couple bars for U-God enter the holocaust with a whole lotta mic screamin, at this point it don’t matter gods. We want that ruggedness. In order for this to occur we need not only RZA, but 4th disciple, true master, blue sky black death, adriane young, alchemist,Rza do not need to rhyme, he be on that pervert shit, that ain’t what wu about.

  • Rich says:

I really do hope they get it together and make it happen. I’ve seen a few interviews where Rza says Rae is one of the first in the doors to get to work. I’m sure it has to be annoying for Rae to be ready and others are slacking and all late to the studio or other Wu business. How they divvy up profits on the album between all members and then
behind-the-scenes people is beyond me. Hope they really do come together and make this album epic as it should be.
