A few words that come to mind when listening to Yeezus
    Disjointed
    Loud
    Edgy
    Gritty
    Annoying
    Dark
I think over all it sounds like a soundtrack album that would be more suited to a French inner city film like ‘Le Haine’ or ‘irreversible’ rather than a pop, hip hop, commercial, urban or whatever genre Kanye is.
I think Kanye is at his most listenable now when his does a posse cut like clique or mercy.
His best production years are behind him.
Enjoy the media circus around the reality baby. That’ll be stressful.

@ Hodges Haven’t checked out Albert Einstein yet.

@ Hodges, Haven’t heard Albert Einstein yet but if you have seen my previous posts/rants about Prodigy I think he’s the most tragic fall from grace MC there has ever been. I bet the beats will be choice but P will sound lazy and barely make the ends of sentences rhyme like he has been doing for years. I hope for better but expect to be disappointed. I cannot wait for Action’s Saaab Stories… Anyway’s back to Kanye, I listen to the LP through several times and it is horrible. I tried to be as objective as possible but it’s bad, not even Rick Rubin could salvage this mess. I feel it will sell well the first week but will fall off quick as I can’t imagine how the main stream sheep will like this… Not radio friendly, no easy hooks, no nothing to draw in the casual music listener and to the trained ear, well, you will know it sucks. Kanye dropped a dud, my prediction is this will go wood and his career will take a huge hit due to this.

@Dayz, gotta agree. I liked his last album, this is disjointed to a fault. Why put a saw blade behind yourself on every track ? This was a lazy attempt to reconnect with his first fans, not gonna happen when we can’t find a way in. Ye needs to fall off, then start over again.

Well … How do i go about this album. I stood up for his last album I throughout it was a near classic .but this .. This piece of crap that hurts my ears and gives me near epilepsy l to listened to it a few times and each time it sound like one of Kanyes rants with music and I use music lightly, what happened here? I don’t get the whole I need to be a artist and make different music so I don’t sound them same , from now on kayne is John Lennon and Kim is yoko let’s just hope there is a chapman out there,.
