You got that right. This album is what hip hop should sound like. This is the evolution of hip hop. 10 songs, 10 bangers, great lyrics, great beats, no bullshit. What else can you ask for? Enough of the hip pop like Kanye, Jay Z, Drake, Lil wayne, and more of that real shit. Please!!!

Never felt this duo, and I’m from Atlanta and felt a lot of promise for Mike when he first came out. I don’t like their voices or El-Ps production style (never been a fan of futurism, industrial, or Bomb Squad). Still, I respect the creativity and intelligence of El-s lyrics, I just can’t bump it.

The man the myth – i wouldnt say kanye west is hip pop, he may make radio friendly songs on some of his albums but his last album was pretty pure hip hop in my opinion and his new album is original and doesnt sound like anything else. kanye doesnt try to make pur pop songs and say what people want him to say he says whatever. you dont have to like or his music but its not pop anymore than most artists out there.

No more talk of Kanye here. EL-P production is far better, Killer mike is rhyming his balls off.
