I forgot a main point I was going to make, these people who have massive influence over what is fed to the masses, are not only destroying our country, but destroying art, as they are not really ones who support creativity and originality, but rather they support what is selling at that moment in time. For a little more check out Pizzo’s interview with Cage. He puts some of that into perspective.

I’ve been pretty openly pessimistic about this record as of late. Just to get it out of the way, “Stronger Than I Was” is god aweful and I still don’t like “The Monster.” Beyond that though I am here to say that Eminem proved me wrong. I admit it. The beats are a little to epic for the most part, but fuck it, I don’t care, the lyricism is incredible. It isn’t all double time flows either which is a very pleasant surprise. Dude just flexes his technical muscles on almost every track. I like “Survival” and “Berzek” more in context with the rest of the album than I did as singles too. “Evil Twin” ended the record on a great note. This isn’t a perfect album, but for me, Eminem has proven that he hasn’t lost it, I was pretty close to writing him off too.

3 1/2 is a perfect score for this one. Dope lyricism, decent beats, some really and songs too. I might be feeling that Don’t Front track that was just released more than anything else on the album. Eminem sounds really dope over really dope beats. Just have him do a mix tape of him rapping over old school beats, that shit would be epic.

@ Model Citizen, I hear ya,but this record sounded good to me, and this is the first eminem album since the emninem show that i’ve felt that way about. Encore, Relapse and Recovery all had ther moments, but were just not consistent, MMLP2 is consistent, i gave it a 4.5/5 personally, still listening after 5 run-throughs, can’t say about many records, despite 2-3 mehs, one of the top 5 LPs of 2013 in my book.
