Roc Marciano quickly follows-up the release of his The Pimpire Strikes Back mixtape with his official LP to close out the year, Marci Beaucoup. Guests on the December 10th release include Action Bronson, Cormega, Evidence, Guilty Simpson, Gangrene (Alchemist + Oh No), Blu, Quelle Chris, Freeway, Boldy James, Maffew Ragazino, Ka, A.G. (DITC), AG The Coroner (conflict of interest?!), Boldy James, Knowledge The Pirate, and SRS. Look for our dual review of both projects later this month.

Looks like a hella dope line up and I hate to be critical but every song has a feature, it’s more a compilation LP than a solo effort. He’s really been on a roll this past year so regardless of him having guest carry the project it’ll be that raw uncut NYC Sh!t I’m sure.

I rock with most of the features, although Roc is at his best dolo. Looking forward to banging it through the rest of the year like Reloaded until Stepbrothers.

I’m pretty sure this will be a dope listen because I’m a big Marciano fan and I like the guest list, but a guest on every track besides the intro (the skit doesn’t count) seems to be a bit much. I’m assuming this was all by design, but Roc Marciano definitely doesn’t need this much support on a “solo” album. It’s hard to complain when the line up is this strong though. I still haven’t gotten around to listening to “Pimpire Strikes Back,” because of my fucked up computer situation, hopefully that will happen soon.
