“War” is the first single from Common’s just announced 2014 LP, Nobody Smiling. The album will be produced entirely by longtime collaborator Rich “No ID” Daily, and will be a concept album about gang violence in Chicago.

    It’s way past time for an intelligent artist from Chicago to speak out about the foolishness going on there, so I commend Com for that. But this track don’t move me, just like most of the stuff he’s put out in recent memory besides Cocaine 80′s and No Sellout.
