1994 was a great (CLASSIC) year for Hip Hop. Don’t forget that 2014 will not only mark the 20th anniversary of Nas’ “Illmatic”, but Biggie’s “Ready To Die”, Gangstarr’s “Hard To Earn”, Jeru’s “The Sun Rises In The East”,Craig Mack’s “Flava In Ya Ear”, only to name a few.

Yeah Dj, there are so many classics from every coast that year. The West was flourishing with Snoop and Above the Law, Dangerous Crew, Heiroglyphics, Freestyle Fellowship to Pac. The south with Scarface, UGK, Big Mike, 8ball and MJG. Common was good back then. Then you had the albums you mentioned, plus the Wu solo albums. Too many classics from that year, all with different styles, and you could actually hear all of these different sounds and styles on rap city when that was in its prime. What the hell happenned?
