Rick Ross appears on RapFix Live, and Sway finally asks Rick Ross about his past as a correction officer, as hinted towards in his lyrics on “Rich Is Gangsta”:

“Feds tore apart the squad nigga, that’s why I had to play the part nigga / that wasn’t me that was a job nigga, it gets deeper that was just the start nigga.”

Ross: “Right now to feed my family, I’d do it again…”.

In the second clip, Ross performs “Nobody” with French Montana on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

I have to disagree. Being a CO is not “just a job/hustle” you have to have a certain mentality to do that kind of work. And especially to turn around and create this whole Mob Don persona, Ross is the ultimate hustler, millionaire drug lord, etc… trying to paint a job as a CO as just another hustle? nah, man… I could care less, I know it’s all fantasy, but nah…

This fake as hoe could have worked at an Ice Cream shop and he would have tried to make it seem like it was the most thuggish thing that ever existed. This guy is a fat lard that doesn’t even have skills on the mic. I’m not sure how he ever blew up. Probably cuz of connections, definitely wasn’t because of skill.
