I don’t know Chad, I was one of the few people who thought Chronic 2001 was really overrated. I tried listening to that recently, and I ended up skipping most of the tracks. The production was good, nothing classic, As I was more blown away by Above the Law’s Legends album that was 4 years prior to 2001, and the lyrics were pretty subpar on that. I honestly haven’t felt anything from Dre since Doggystyle. Aftermath comp album had a couple stand out tracks, but that album was a disappointment. I just can’t see any version of DETOX that is classic by any stretch.

As usual Man the Myth, I agree 100 percent on your opinion of the Chronic 2001 and Dre. I even liked the beats more on the Aftermath comp than Chronic 2001.
