Aesop Rock will release a free instrumental project called The Blob, this Friday, April 11th. He tells us: “The Blob is 32 minutes of beats & sounds that have otherwise been orphaned by their hell-bound father. It is largely unmixed and occasionally offensive. James Lynch played bass on the one that sounds like an elf orgy. Allyson Baker played guitar on the last one. Mastered by Joey Raia.”

This could be pretty good! Usually when something is available for free that means it might be because of sample clearance, which means it has a good chance of sounding like some good real ass hip hop. Definitely will check this out.
