Diehard “W” fans have taken to Kickstarter in an attempt to raise money to purchase Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind LP, Once Upon A Time In Shaolin, with plans to distribute it digitally for free, thereafter. The Kickstarter page reads: “The risk is some Saudi oil baron’s kid spending his dad’s money to collect a trophy and then he’ll keep the album to himself and fans the world over will suffer.”

The founder of the campaign promises that he will not profit “a penny” from this Kickstarter, and will refund everyone’s money if they do not reach the $5 million dollar goal. Currently, the site has raised $2442, with a deadline of June 9th. Best of luck.

You can contribute or just look at the campaign with bewilderment here.

never going to make it, it is still below $3000. it pisses me off too cause the album is probably done and could be out to the public now. it better be a good album and it better get released to the public or people will not be happy
