Ha Ha wasting beats On Mike? Dude R.A.P Music was the shit lyrically! Mike brings that Grab the mic and spit shit I absolutely love! East W/ South just works too. Skew on BBQ was the innovation and RTJ is the new product. Darker usually means more political but we will see. Run…..

I imagine the darker tone of the album will be more concept driven. Both guys are pretty outspoken against government, and discuss some pretty heady topics. The last album was them taking on the mainstream rappers, this album will probably get into the usual territory that both artists regularly get into.

I’ll accept y’all disagreeing, especially Man Myth, cuz we usually agree. lol

I don’t recall anybody talking about Killer Mike much before EL-P started producing for him. I know he had “Monster”, but that got attention due to his Outkast ties at the time. I dunno guys. I just see him as another Southern rapper who is slightly above average for a Southern rapper. lol. Oh well.

dang Tom, I am shocked, I usually cosign with you, but mike is a straight spitter.

  • The Doorman says:

Yeah Tom, for real, you want Canibus? Killer Mike isn’t about the super scientifical lyrical miracles, but he is a nasty emcee: vividness, delivery, content, and SAYING SOMETHING. He’s right there with Nasir.

And folks been bigging up Mike since the Pledge Alleigence To The Grind series. El just brought out the best in him.

Go listen to “reagan” and rethink your position
