Mass Appeal has leaked Jay Z’s original demo tape. No telling if this is the entirety of the tape, or just select tracks from that era. That being said, I definitely remember “Greatest MC In The World” and “Get Off My Dick” with Sauce Money being played on Stretch & Bobbito back in the day. I also remember thinking how audacious he was for crowning himself “Greatest MC In The World” when he was a virtual unknown… Look at him now.

J-Zone has teamed with vinyl purists Chopped Herring Records for The 1993 Demos EP, which includes 7 never-heard-before tracks from his early years, five years before his 1998 debut, Music For Tu Madre. Although his voice sounds exactly the same on these twenty-year old recordings, his flow definitely fits the year, as rapped under his “Mr. Bomb” alias. The project will be limited to 350 copies and is available at www.choppedherringrecords.com. Check out snippets below.

Timbaland tells us: “This song didn’t make the cut from 2012, but featured a lot of artist from Virginia. There were many variations to this song, but here is a snippet.”

Come on Tim, release that shit…. Also, here’s some (bad) footage making the rounds, down below of Tim playing an as-of-yet unreleased Jay-Z and Drake song, assumingly produced by him. Sounds like he’s getting ready to come back out.
