Glasses Malone has released his new video “Eastsidin” feat. Snoop Dogg & Nipsey Hussle. Glasses Malone’s ‘Beach Cruiser’ hits stores on August 30th via Suburban Noize/Cash Money and features guest appearances from Snoop Dogg, Akon, T-Pain, Rick Ross, Jay Rock and Birdman.

“211″ is the newest leak from Glasses Malone, who is set to drop his new album “Beach Cruiser” on August 30th, 2011 on Suburan Noize Records/Cash Money.

Here is a quote from Glasses about the track:

“The song ’211′ was meant for the ‘Beach Cruiser’ album, but there wasn’t enough time to clear the samples” commented Glasses. “The song represents the West, where I’m from and pays homage to music I grew up listening to, so I had to get it out to the fans. I’m rapping over classic beats from Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Westside Connection. It doesn’t get more West Coast than that.”

Dope west coast representative Glasses Malone drops the video for “May 1st”. As Glasses himself describes it:

This song focuses on how we were made to feel life would change after May 1st, the day Osama Bin Laden was killed. Yet everything is exactly the same in the world, my environment, as well as my personal life! I decided to do the COLD AS ICE mixtape to show my depth and lyrical ability. Ice Cube being one of my favorite emcees of all time as well as the controversy that surrounds our supposed beef, I figure why not go in on such a classic body of work. I truly believe this might be the way to get the respect I want from him and every other OG from his generation.
I’m not some young dumb hot head, I got something to say as well!! If you heard the mixtape “2010″ which is me abusing Dr. Dre beats, then you already know what to expect.”

Beatnik & K-Salaam have announced that they will be releasing a new LP, Where The Streets Have No Name, which will debut on Imeem.Com on July 25th and 26th, and will be available to the public shortly thereafter. The album includes a long list of collaborators, with each Young Buck, Talib Kweli, Bun B, Lil Wayne, K’naan, Buckshot, Colin Munroe, Demarco, U-N-I, Tabi Bonney, Mikkey Halsted, Glasses Malone, Haziq Ali, and others making appearances. The first single will be “Don’t Die”, featuring Talib Kweli, Bun B, and Colin Munroe.

“This summer is about to get real hot. Believe that,” the duo said in a statement, global warming not withstanding.
