Corporate sponsorship ain’t always so bad, right? Hey, if record labels don’t want to put all of these artists on a track, why not allow Gatorade to do it? Chicago is represented to the fullest on this track from Gatorade’s Relay Series.

Since G.O.O.D. Music isn’t really a full-fleged label these days (as each Common, Kanye, John Legend, and Consequence all released their albums on different major labels), neverless, Kanye West’s name appears first on Malik Yusef’s new double CD extravaganza entitled, “Kanye West & Malik Yusef Present G.O.O.D. Morning, G.O.O.D. Night”, available in two separate “Dusk” and “Dawn” editions. (They are really trying to hammer the point home that ‘Ye is behind this thing, huh?)

Truth be told this is the solo album from “spoken word phenomenon Malik Yusef” (their words, not mine), not a new Kanye West album – but it’s Kanye blessed! An extensive guest list shows that Malik has some pull in this industry, with people like Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Twista, KRS-1, Jennifer Hudson, Paul Wall, and Kanye himself all making appearances on the album.
