Trap trio Keys N Krates tells us: “This collab was well overdue. We were telling P’s manager about a year ago that we had an idea to do this track with kinda slow tripped out singing over it and thought he might be a good fit after hearing his track ‘We Them Niggas’. So after we dropped the “Every Nite” EP we thought why not turn “Yes we faded” into exactly that – We sent the beat over the P and he wrote a nasty ass hook and sent it right back. As soon as we heard the hook, we were all like “dude let’s get in the lab immediately and make this into a whole tune with verses and all that.” We went to P’s studio and within hours he banged out a crazy song over our beat right in front of us. n Oct of 2013, Keys N Krates released the single Dum Dee Dum on Dim Mak Records. Later that month, with the help of King Louie, Tree & Cyhi The Prince decided to jump on the track. The outcome: “Dum Dee Dum (Remix)”.
