The spontaneous and eclectic Kosha Dillz has no borders when it comes to his music and “Where My Homies Be” is proof of his always appealing nature. Equipped with stimulating visuals full of kaleidoscope’esque images akin to an acid trip, courtesy of Director Robbie Barclay, the video will definitely leave a lasting impression on the listener. Adding Gangsta Boo & Murs to the equation only adds to the insanity on the track, as each emcee is able to effortlessly flow over Belief’s infectious instrumental. “Where My Homies Be” is featured on Kosha Dillz’ sophomore album Awkward In a Good Way, which is now available.
The ubiquitous Kosha Dillz has perhaps one of the most diverse groups of ‘rapper friends’ in quite possibly the history of the genre. To prove this point, the bi-coastal emcee recruits both Gangsta Boo and Murs for the debut leak “Where My Homies Be” off his sophomore solo album Awkward In A Good Way which is set to drop November 5th via Murs 316. Produced by Belief, whose whose composed tracks for the likes of Ghostface Killah, El-P, Talib Kweli, Action Bronson, Kelly Clarkson, Murs and Jean Grae, “Where My Homies Be” packs more ‘bounce to the ounce’ than Zapp & Roger. Stay tuned for the visuals to drop at an internet near you.

For those curious to know how this seemingly random collaboration came to fruition, Dillz explains: “After randomly meeting at a warehouse party in LA, where Gangsta Boo performed, we linked for dinner at Mel’s Diner in Hollywood. After feeling completely enamored by randomness of the encounter, I thought a collaboration would shock the world. Once the story of our encounter made its way back to Murs from our mutual friend/producer Belief, he immediately jumped on the song.”
The very special guest featured on this track is one of the illest of all time Kool G Rap.”
