Blasphemy or high art? C.L. has teamed with Mr. Chop – best known for his work with Now Again Records and DOOM’s Born Like This – to remake the song in two different versions. Chop is a long time follower of Pete Rock, who released an album last year called For Pete’s Sake, which found him covering Pete’s beats in new jazz, funk, and psychedelic renditions. Both the 7″ single for “T.R.O.Y.: The Resurrection” and For Pete’s Sake are available online @ Stones Throw’s store.
