Trap trio Keys N Krates tells us: “This collab was well overdue. We were telling P’s manager about a year ago that we had an idea to do this track with kinda slow tripped out singing over it and thought he might be a good fit after hearing his track ‘We Them Niggas’. So after we dropped the “Every Nite” EP we thought why not turn “Yes we faded” into exactly that – We sent the beat over the P and he wrote a nasty ass hook and sent it right back. As soon as we heard the hook, we were all like “dude let’s get in the lab immediately and make this into a whole tune with verses and all that.” We went to P’s studio and within hours he banged out a crazy song over our beat right in front of us. Hope you guys dig this as much as we do. Have a drink to it or don’t?”

In an interview with Karen Civil, Drake affiliate P Reign revealed that Drake is planning to drop a mixtape in 2015.

“I know Drake’s dropping a mixtape that I’ve already heard a lot of and it’s crazy,” he said. “I think its some of the best I’ve heard from him in my life and I already know off Drake’s mixtape the world is going to shake. I know Kanye is getting ready to put something out, I won’t be surprised if Hov put something out. I think it’ll be a huge year for hip-hop. I know Kendrick has something to put out. A$AP Rocky, a lot of top dudes are going for that top spot. I think it’ll be one of the craziest years yet.”

No word on whether or not this mixtape will lead into his album, Views From The 6, but it’s highly likely.
