Bronson and Party Supplies give us a video teaser of next week’s Blue Chips 2 release.

First offering from Blue Chips 2, dropping November 1st. The track takes a cue from Big Daddy Kane’s “Smooth Operator” and Allen Iverson’s infamous “practice” rant.

We no longer have to wait for rain, as Action Bronson has revealed that his upcoming album with Party Supplies, Blue Chips 2, will be released – free – on November 1st, no matter what.

Action Bronson announced today that his next project with producer Party Supplies, Blue Chips 2, will arrive in November. Specifically, “the first day it rains in November”. So look out for that November rain.

With the most intriguing collaboration since Public Enemy & Anthrax, Action Bronson & Party Supplies have crafted a hypnotic joint that takes us to the streets of Hunts Point in 1993. Inspired by the classic HBO documentary of the same name, Action offers up a shocking first hand account from the stunted lives of streetwalkers: Cyndi, a prostitute addicted to crack, Silk, a violent, misogynistic pimp and Ramón, a former athlete turned junkie. Directed by Rik Cordero.

Blue Chips is a project that allows me to give something back to all the people who have been supporting me during the last year. Party Supplies and myself linked up in the late fall and over the span of a few weeks created this project entirely off the cuff. We didn’t over think it, we just had fun making music with no pressures of making a “hit song”, clearing of samples or sales expectations. – Action Bronson

Blue Chips is an off the cuff, spontaneous project that started as a vibe session one winter afternoon and spiraled into a 17 song dusted journey through the warped comedic minds of Action Bronson and the prodigy producer/artist known simply as Party Supplies.

This journey includes appearances by Roc Marci, Meyhem Lauren and Das Racist and was recorded in the confines of Party Supplies Williamsburg chalet. It’s a project as opposed to a mixtape or an album and sits in a nether world somewhere between the two.

Most of all it’s a moment in time made in a 3 week period of hanging out at Party Supplies house. In between cheese plates, snaps and spliffs the 2 artists came up with this testament of creativity and spontaneity.

Action Bronson and Fool’s Gold producer Party Supplies will be teaming together for a project called Blue Chips. This track is unlikely to appear on the final tracklist.
