Not to be confused with Rich Boy, Rich Girl is diva-group formed by Rich “Crazy In Love” Harrison. I’ve been following their stuff for a minute now, giving their last single “He Ain’t With Me Now” some spins in the early evenings. Their new song, “Trouble” has Harrison’s usual horn-driven flair to it (perhaps the same sample as M.O.P’s “Ante Up”), along with perfectly executed “A Milli-esque” bounce, ready made for the dancefloor. The hook itself from the Rich Girl crew is a bit repetitive, however Gucci Mane and Duece Poppi sound perfectly raw over such polished production (unlike the Fisher Price beats they are used to). Sounds like a moderate hit, someone get me a non-drop version for the club quickly. – DJ Pizzo
