In perhaps the most irrelevant rap-beef of the year, Shyne and Game trade barbs, courtesy of Vlad TV. In the first clip, Shyne takes some shots at Game in a new freestyle, while in the second clip, Game speaks on Shyne saying that he is “in a sad place” right now and is reaching for attention.

Earlier in the week, Shyne took to Twitter to publicly blast Kendrick Lamar’s new album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City, calling it “trash”. While we weren’t going to give him any…uh… shine for this attention getting stunt, Kendrick Lamar has responded, simply brushing the comments off. In the above clip, he basically says that that is Shyne’s opinion, and it’s more or less different than what the popular opinion is.

Shyne’s back on the scene with his latest mixtape, Gangland, celebrating the 12th anniversary of his self-titled debut album. Includes collaborations with Danja, Pusha T, RZA (!), Young Lord, and more.

Where were you guys ten years ago when we weren’t giving Shyne any props on this site because he sounded like Biggie? (That goes for you too, Guerilla Black). Anyway, Shyne still sucks and his latest attempt at getting attention is going at 50, with a song made up of the following elements:

a) “King Of New York” sample
b) 2008 Oscar winning movie title
c) interpolated B.I.G. lyrics
d) Malcolm X samples (wow, he and Jeezy are on the same page!)
e) jealousy
f) jacked beat from Dr. Dre’s “High Powered”

FAIL.
