Sam Scarfo, the New Jersey artist signed to Prodigy of Mobb Deep’s Infamous Records, delivered his album earlier this year with producer Ski Beatz called 5 Million Stories Vol. 1 & 2.

Legendary Bronx-bred hip hop duo Camp Lo is back with “Cold Retarded”, produced by longtime collaborator Ski Beatz. Although he’s worked with the likes of Jay-Z, Mos Def, Curren$y, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, and many more, Ski has always shared a special creative connection with Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede. Look out for the new Camp Lo album coming soon on Nature Sounds, entirely produced by Ski.

Ski Beatz produced the majority of Camp Lo’s classic debut album Uptown Saturday Night (including the seminal hit “Luchini”), and has a history with the group dating back nearly two decades. Recently, Sonny Cheeba, Geechi Suede, and Ski sat down to discuss their creative process, chemistry, and musical evolution from the 90s to 2014.
