Jimmy’s in-house band are the musical act on last night’s episode, with special guests A-Trak and the Metropolis Ensemble, in promotion of their new album, …and then you shoot your cousin. This bold performance may just have put all other Fallon performances to shame.

Cam’Ron sits in with MTV to speak on his much buzzed A-Trak / Dipset / Just Blaze collaboration from the Federal Reserve project.

DJ A-Trak sat down with VladTV to discuss everything from reuniting Just Blaze and Dipset to Cam’ron’s skills in the kitchen.

A-Trak revealed that he initially wanted to do a song or two with Cam’ron, but upon meeting they had such an undeniable chemistry that they both decided to do an entire EP together. They also brought in Just Blaze to co-produce a track in an effort to bring back that classic Roc-A-Fella, Just Blaze/ Cam’ron feeling, seeing as how the mega-producer and Harlem MC haven’t collaborated in over 10 years.

He also revealed some behind-the-scenes info, namely that Cam is a great host, and while recording in his home studio would step out between verses to chef up pork chops, shrimp and other assorted meats.

A-Trak and Cam’ron are back! Summer anthem “Dipsh*ts” features uncut Cam’ron slick talk over triumphant instrumental blasts from A-Trak, Oliver and Just Blaze, a Dipset-repping Juelz Santana on the hook, and “Champagne Dame” (aka Federal Reserve executive producer Damon Dash) providing a legendary, song closing rant, complete with “Foooooooool’s Gold” shout!

This Federal Reserve cut gets the epic video it deserves thanks to director Ricky Saiz, who follows up his work for Beyonce and Supreme with another iconic clip, capturing the rugged glory and inimitable fashion sense of Harlem and the Diplomats with true uptown-meets-downtown flair.
