Beanie Sigel is being held in intensive care at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, after being shot by an unknown assailant in Pleasantville, NJ on Friday, reports Press Of Atlantic City.

Police say there are no leads or any other information in regards to the shooting, which happened in front of a home on Spruce Animal, after an altercation with his brother-in-law, Umar Slahuddin Jr. Slahuddin sustained injury, but refused medical attention and would not speak with the police. Sigel, real name Dwight Grant, was found outside the home Friday morning near a basement door.

Philadelphia Fox News affiliate Fox 29 is reporting that a source says Beanie is in critical condition, via the tweet below.

It seems as if Beanie Sigel’s reign of tax-evading terror has come to an end. He was sentenced on Thursday to two years in prison for failing to file $728,536 in federal income taxes from 1999-2005. He also must pay all fines, fees, and penalties to the IRS, before heading to prison on September 12th.

But first, he will release his new album, This Time, hitting August 28th, on the newly relaunched Ruffhouse Records. CEO Chris Schwartz spoke on the album as well as the the rebirth of Ruffhouse.
