Domingo has released the first single for “Same Game – New Rules” entitled “The Return” which features Chris Rivers, Bamboo, Krs-1 and R.A. The Rugged Man. (Cuts by Dj Eclipse)

Domingo is one of the most prominent hip hop producers to ever come from East New York, Brooklyn he has produced for some of hip hop’s most respected and well known artists such as Big Pun, Eminem, Kool G Rap, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Fat Joe, KRS-1 to name a few.

In keeping focus to his NYC grimey street boom bap sound has decided to keep hip hop alive by producing his 7th studio album entitled

“Same Game – New Rules”. The album is slated to have such artists as Nutso, Chris Rivers, Krs-1, Kool G Rap, R.A. The Rugged Man, Ras Kass, AZ, Bamboo, Demorne Warren, and many others.

Domingo has went the crowd funding route on this album to keep it fan supported and independently released having his fans and supporters be a part of the album making experience.

Since there was no internet in the 80′s and 90′s, there was no discussion about subliminal rap disses of that era. We’re here to uncover them all, as we did recently in the case of Del vs. De La Soul.

One that’s always bugged us was on Freestyle Fellowship’s “Bullies Of The Block”, as seen above. P.E.A.C.E. starts the song off, and in the middle of his verse, he (seemingly) imitates Greg Nice of Nice & Smooth with the line “Wicky Wicky Wicky Wack MC / There’ll be no tricky tricky tricking me!” before reverting back to his own style with “Shut up! Sit back and enjoy the beatdown, sucka!”

The rest of the verse doesn’t seem to apply to Greg Nice, but the competition in general. Anyone out there that can shed some light on this? Discuss.

Greg Nice recently premiered the video for “Motherfuck@” from his upcoming album, The Popcycle, due out October 26th via One Haven Music/Industry Rule 4080. The video features drops from A-Trak, Pete Rock, Lil Jon, Roxy Cottontail, and many more.

Greg Nice took the stage at Los Angeles’ AFEX party with DJ Adam 12 to perform Gangstarr’s classic “DWYCK” in honor of the late Guru. Greg Nice prepares for his solo debut, Popcycle, dropping August 31st on One Haven / Industry Rule 4080, which will feature guest shots from Tony Yayo, DJ Webstar, and Flava Flav.

On one hand, Greg Nice should definitely be using his trademark high-pitched flow to animate party break records, and on the other hand, Disco Fries are good at making electro-hop beats. Putting the two together though didn’t yield the hottest results, mojitos and cheese-filled burritos considered. Ah well….
