Here is Vanilla Ice’s full interview with Sway in the Morning. In their conversation, Ice speaks openly on all things Ice — including selling 160 million records, the key to success according to his experiences, and what really happened with Suge Knight. Did he really get hung over a balcony?

“The truth is he was nice.” Admits Ice. “The story seems a little bit better, a little bit more interesting, and got better ratings when you have Vanilla Ice hanging upside down and you see his change coming from his pockets. The truth is, he took that money, but I look at it in a positive way because I’ve made great investments.”

Before talking about dating Madonna, he went on to discuss his indirect involvement with Death Row Records.

“That money went on to start Deathrow Records.” Claims Ice. “That money funded some of the greatest hip hop records of all time. ‘The Chronic’ record, funded by Vanilla Ice.”

Is this karma coming full circle? In 2009, Suge Knight slapped gangster rapper Kanye West with a lawsuit for performing at The Shore Club in Miami in 2005; an event that found Suge Knight shot in the thigh, and robbed for for a $135,000 diamond earring. In the suit, Suge also includes in the damages “the cost of a private plane to transport him from Florida back to Los Angeles.” Because, you know, surely Kanye’s hardcore lyrics about not graduating college and buying Louis Vuitton shoes are what caused the shooting, not Suge’s 20 year history of being the music industry’s biggest gangster.

The femur-capped, Yukmouth chain-snatching, tax evading, toothless terrorist Suge Knight was meant to appear in Florida this past week for the case, but instead was caught in a car accident, the very same fate bestowed upon Kanye at the start of his career! This is like an episode of Lost!

“He was in a pretty serious car accident,” Suge’s lawyer Marc Brumer explained to the Miami New Times. “He lost a couple of teeth, he’s in pain, and he can’t speak.”

Suge Knight, co-founder of The New and Untouchable Death Row Records, is currently wanted by police for the alleged beating and robbery of rapper Yukmouth, who unbeknown to most has had a solo career, and is also a member of the group Tha Luniz. Sources say that Suge, along with 10 other unknown assailants that may or may not have had record deals with Death Row at some point in their lives, assaulted Yukmouth at Ralph’s supermarket in the mean streets of San Fernando Valley, stealing his jewelry, worth roughly $92000 – a value that Suge is expected to pull in over the next six years and 1/67 of what Suge owes the IRS. Yukmouth, whom was last seen on television when he had a hit 16 years ago with “I Got Five On It”, was not available for comment.
