What releases are you feelin from 2012 so far?

I haven't got around to listening to a lot of albums this year but here's some favs:

OC & Apollo Brown – Trophies

Yu – The Earn (I'm letting this pass since it was released 2 weeks before 2012)

Jeremiah Jae – Raw Money Raps

JJ DOOM – Key To The Kuffs

Busdriver – Beaus$Eros (not exactly hip hop though)

Public Enemy – Most Of My Heroes Still Don't Appear On No Stamp

Nas – Life Is Good

Gangrene – Vodka & Ayahuasca

Union – Analogtronics

The Quakers – Quakers

Small Professor – Gigantic

Large Pro's was okay

El-P's was pretty good, need to listen more

I want to like Killer Mike's album but I definitely need more listens (only listened once)

Looking forward to:

eLZhi's new album

Guilty Simpson & Apollo Brown

the next PE album

and some others I can't think of right now

What's your?

Yeah those for sure. Was really impressed with the Joey Badass mixtape. Dude has a bright future.

A lot on your list I haven't checked yet.

Need to peep I Self's album… all of his mixtapes were dope as fuck.

Was kind of disappointed with Stoned Immaculate.

Didn't like that Oh No album at all.

Was a little disappointed with MA DOOM… Ace just sounds boring these days.

Need to peep:

Del & Parallel Thought

Obie Trice

Mr. Green

Both of REKS albums

Preemo & Bumpy Knuckles

I've seen a few heads rating the new Gift of Gab, need to check it out.

what's up with the space between every line on this forum?

This may change on a weekly basis from here on out, but at the moment:

Killer Mike

OC/Apollo Brown

Brother Ali

But, it's been a pretty great year, and more is in store. Someone mentioned the Apollo/Guilty Simpson, and I'm really looking forward to that.
