Inspectah Deck Talks About “Got My Mind Up” on Toca Tuesdays from Toca Tuesdays on Vimeo. This is classic hip-hop history right here. An old story, but nice to hear it from Deck himself. In other news, the caller is obsessed with Deck.
There’s something to be said for persistence. That’s especially true in music, where it’s admirable for an artist to stick to it and keep releasing new material because he loves what he’s doing, even if it never blows up. Inspectah Deck has certainly had his share of heady success back in the heyday of the [cont.]
Another track fresh off The Manifesto by Inspectah Deck. Full album was released this morning and can be purchased on iTunes or at any retailer. [Audio clip: view full post to listen] LISTEN: Inspectah Deck + Kurupt + Billy Danze – “Gotta Bang”

Survival got him buggin’, but he’s alive on arrival… More fire from Inspectah Deck’s Manifesto, dropping any day now. Cormega joins in the fray. Inspectah Deck + Cormega – “Born Survivor” (MP3)
Hmmmm…..Another one from Inspectah Deck’s Manifesto… Like the track, not what I’d expect from Wu-Tang, but the beat by itself is dope, and Deck and Rae are a natural fit, even though they’ve essentially traded grime for synth. Not sure about the autotuned hook tho…..Hopefully the album can keep the balance…. Inspectah Deck + Raekwon [cont.]
First offering from the Rebel INS’s forthcoming Manifesto, due March 23rd… Heavy Alchemist track here, and Deck’s really tapping into his Wu roots, with lyrics like “major pain game hunter / summertime shine”. Sounds like the OB4CL2 effect might be contagious….. Inspectah Deck + The Alchemist – “The Champion” (MP3)

In a recent BlogTV live broadcast, a flip-flopping Joe Budden spoke on Inspectah Deck’s recent attack on him, “House Nigga”. At first he decided that he was going to respond lyrically to Deck. “When I first heard the Inspectah Deck s**t I thought it was weak but I said, ‘Aight I’m going to tear him [cont.]
On June 30th, E1 Music will release the new album from “Wu-Tang”, entitled “Chamber Music”. That is not to be confused with The Wu-Tang Clan, it’s just labeled as “Wu-Tang”. In the four-years since the Rebel INS dropped his slept-on Uncontrolled Substance (which still went Gold with virtually no input from RZA) debut, it seems that heads have nearly forgotten about one of the Wu’s sharpest blades. On the heels on Wu’s Iron Flag, Deck has experienced further growing pains as a solo-artist, jetting from [cont.]
The debut of the Rebel INS’s solo LP is one of the most anticipated releases in the Wu-Tang Clan’s history. He’s been called the Wu’s most underrated emcee, even though his was the first voice heard when you played Enter the 36 Chambers for the first time. Deck’s powerful impact on mics was never really fronted [cont.]
