Better late than never. It’s a phrase fit to describe Stat Quo’s debut album Statlanta. After being discovered by Dr. Dre and Eminem and then signed to Aftermath and Shady Records,  the Atlanta emcee appeared to be well on his way to making moves. That was 2003. More from the endless vaults of Dr. Dre, which also contain mythical albums from Rakim, Eve, Last Emperor, Hittman, King Tee, and more. YourAudioFix leaked these Stat Quo Statlanta gems, left over from the Shady / Aftermath recording sessions. Both tracks feature rhymes from Em, with “Classic Shit” taking some shots at some 2003-era competitors. [cont.]
