Kid Ink just signed with RCA, and with that releases the first single with the label, featuring Meek Mill and Wale.
In part one of this three part interview series, Peter Rosenberg sits down with Wale & Dj Clark Kent to go over a variety of subjects including…the relationship between the two, how Wale deals with criticism, plans for a new album, the collaborative process during the making of #Folarin and more.

Wale gives us a sneak peak at his Christmas Eve mixtape release, Folarin, to be hosted by DJ Clark Kent.
Seems like Wale may be returning to his roots – at least on this track – which borrows heavily from Willie Hutch’s “Brothers Gonna Work It Out,” as heard on the soundtrack to The Mack. This comes from Wale’s Folarin mixtape, dropping on Christmas Eve.
