The Well Versed recently sat down with XV and let him explain exactly what is goin on with “The Kid With The Green Backpack,” the added pressure of having a series of successful mixtapes and he reveals another project coming before his debut album.
The kid with the green backpack, otherwise known as XV, has been quiet as of late. While we’re still unsure of when to expect his Just Blaze-helmed Warner Music debut, Mr. X-To-The-V will release a new mixtape this Friday called Squarians. Here is the first single, a freestyle over Dom Kennedy’s “My Type Of Party”.
XV stays on the grind, with this new cut produced by The Awesome Sound.
XV’s Awesome EP is on Itunes now. This version of the track is taken from the Zero Heroes mixtape, however.
