Like whoa. Redman’s new single is unlike anything he’s ever released before - with an obvious Rockwilder banger behind it, “Let’s Get Dirty” is clearly aimed at one audience - the club. It’s almost too early to tell whether I like this record or hate it - it’s obvious disposable nature makes me dislike it, but I’m also guilty of falling in love with Rockwilder’s more ig’nant beats by the fifth and sixth times that I hear them. Not really what I expected from Reggie, but it’s clearly obvious that this record is going to be huge, especially with DJ Kool egging you on to wild out during the hook. Meanwhile, I’m still stuck on “R-E-D” from DJ Clue’s album. Can we get it as a b-side on the commercial 12″?
