Awol One might not be this blogger’s cup of tea, but considering he calls his July 21st Fake Four Inc. release, Owl Hours, his “best album yet”, maybe this is a good jumping on point. This album is a collaborative LP with producer Factor, who also produced “the underground classic Only Death Can Kill You“, according to the press release.

Surprisingly, the Walrus One has enlisted Xzibit to executive produce the album, which include guest spots from X himself, as well as The Alkaholiks, Aesop Rock, and Myka 9. Nice to see some Likwit Crew members back to making underground music, huh? – D.T. Swinga
