That’s pronounced “four”, not “I.V.”, like Cypress Hill’s cheeky fourth album title. DJ Honda continues his numerical series of albums with this latest entry, currently set for an August 5th release, including collaborations with Kool G. Rap, Mos Def, Rakaa-Iriscience (Dilated Peoples), Sean Price (Heltah Skeltah), Ras Kass, Group Home, Rsonist (The Heatmakerz…wait, who?) and Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit…wait, what?). More collaborations will be announced soon, you can keep up with Honda on his Twitter page, if you are the obsessive type.

Meanwhile, Honda has just released “Travellin’ Man (Remastered)”, a new digi-single via ITunes, including updated versions of his legendary collaboration with Mos Def. No word if this is the same collabo that will appear on IV, or something separate, but the new version includes acapella in case you want to jack the hook for your crooklynclan.net remix. – DJ Pizzo
