Say what you will about Cypress Hill – they’ve definitely had their low moments – but when they want to, they can tap into that classic energy that helped them become the icons they are today. “It Ain’t Nothing” is the first single from their April 6th release, Rise Up, their first release for EMI / Priority Records and eighth studio album. The track channels the darker III era of their career, over what sounds like an Alchemist track (but could very well be Muggs…. or vice versa). Either way, leaving bad memories of mash-up albums in the past, this may very well be the beginning of the comeback trail for the brothers from the Hill.
