Atlanta based rapper Donnis, whom you may know from his Diary of an ATL Brave mixtape, revealed in a XXL interview that he recently signed with Atlantic Records, after a heated bidding war with Def Jam, Asylum, Jive, and Downtown Records. Donnis scored an underground hit single with last year with “Gone” via A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold imprint. He’s currently recording with Drumma Boy, Clinton Sparks, Estelle, and Kardinal Offishal for his forthcoming debut, tentatively titled Past Visions of The Future. He is also working on a new mixtape entitled Southern Comfort, as well as an EP.
