Nobody can fuck with Compton’s Most Wanted’s first few albums, however MC Ehit’s solo career left something to be desired. Still, producers like DJ Muggs, Pete Rock, and DJ Premier knew how to get the best out of Eiht in the post-DJ Slip era, with tracks like Cypress Hill’s “Throw Ya Hands In The Air”, Pete Rock’s “One Life To Live”, and CMW’s “Def Wish II ” Preemo remix.

The latest is that Eiht has signed with DJ Premier’s Year Round Records imprint for the release of his next album, Which Way Is West, due out this summer. Guest appearances will include labelmates the NYG’z, as well as additional production from Marco Polo. An album sampler has leaked, however features no Preemo tracks.
