Def Jam has apparently been battling with Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope, and “other labels,” for Shyne’s next album, according to a report by Miss Info. Finally closing with a seven-figure deal, the rapper will release his second album for the label, following 2004′s Godfather Alive. Def Jam obviously expects big things from the currently exiled rapper, who is managed by HipHopSince1978 – the same firm behind Kanye West, Drake, and Lil Wayne. Currently Shyne is in Belieze, unable to re-enter the United States after being deported following his release from prison.
