Since the tragic death of DJ AM, Travis Barker has not worked with another DJ on stage in the same capacity – a dynamic team up that found AM manning the turntables, while Barker played live drums over his set.

After meeting at Cochella, A-Trak was very impressed with what Barker was doing, and decided to give him a call. The two met and jammed for an hour or so, and as time flew by, the found a natural cohesion between their two sounds. Fast forward to today, and the two have teamed up for a tour, which will hit Hollywood’s Roxy Theatre March 9-10, plus additional dates in following in Las Vegas, SXSW in Austin, and WMC in Miami.

“It’s going to be a mix of everything,” A-Trak told MTV. “We’re still kind of rehearsing it, but I think it’s going to be some songs people recognize, some of the remixes Travis has done, some of my remixes. Just kind of mix it up.”

“We might do a run of side shows in health clubs and saunas,” he added.  “Just set up in the steam bath and play. It was an idea we had yesterday.”
