The Drakeover has begun, literally….. First single from his forthcoming Young Money official solo debut, Thank Me Later…. Drake’s songs have always had a minimalist quality to them, and when this one starts off, you aren’t sure where he’s going with it, given it’s cinematic strings and almost train-of-thought sung stanzas. Then the beat kicks in – and he proceeds to go off. Not sure this is Drake’s lead single or buzz single – honestly for a guy with his level buzz, it doesn’t matter, it’s going to work.
