R.A. The Rugged Man is easily one the most slept on rappers of all time. He’s worked with everyone from the Notorious B.I.G. to J-Live, but watched his official debut album be shelved after bouncing around from Jive to Priority to Capitol in the early 90′s. Many of these classic, never officially released tracks now see proper release with Legendary Classics, which was released in October of 2009 via Nature Sounds / Fat Beats as a limited edition CD/DVD. The album includes collaborations with Mobb Deep, Jedi Mind Tricks, J-Live, Sunz of Man, Timbo King, Kool G. Rap, Ayatollah, Akinyele, Sadat X, and others, including forever bootlegged classics like “Stanley Kubrick”, “Every Record Label Sucks Dick”, and “Cunt Renaissance” (feat. Notorious B.I.G.), which have never seen official release. R.A. celebrates the release of Legendary Classics this month on wax, with a limited edition clear red vinyl version, as seen above, which is available now at UGHH.
