In a recent interview with Billboard, J.Cole gave a few details about his upcoming solo debut. The previously title Cole World,is gone as the album moved into “as-yet-titled- category.Title withstanding, the LP is tentatively scheduled to drop this October and will feature production from No ID,Jim Jonsin and Pharell, with Cole producing some of his own tracks. At current time, in order to give the album a “timeless feel”,Cole has zero collaborations planned.

“Sometimes it’s not about the name you have on there, sometimes its about the extra voice breaking up the monotony of yours,” he says, adding that he “was just thinking about [Roc Nation artist] Rita [Ora] for a song I’m working on.”

The followup single to “Who Dat” is still undecided and secretive.Cole wants to keep it that way in regards to the album.

“I like the mystique. If I’m a fan of somebody, I don’t want to know everything they’re doing or all their thoughts,” he says. “It leaves more for your imagination.”
