According to a recent article in XXL, CyHi Da Prynce has signed with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. The deal is structured through his current deal with Def Jam, and came to fruition after Kanye heard Prynce’s verse on Yelawolf’s “I Wish”. “He heard my verse and loved it,” he told XXL. “After that, he took his time out to look my name up and he liked the music that I had. To me, [Kanye] is the most complete artist in hip-hop, and I feel like that’s what I want to be. To have him as a mentor is just a blessing. I’m learning.” CyHi is slated to drop his The Royal Flush EP this Fall.
