Billboard reports that Kanye West My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy shows a first week sales of over 496,000, while Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday delivered over 375,000, the latter being the highest debut for a female emcee since Lauryn Hill’s The Mideducation Of… in 1998. Meanwhile, Lil’ Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being was just certified gold by the RIAA, as was Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands” single.
