North Carolina up-and-comer HaLo has joined forces with DJBooth.net, It’s A Wonderful World Music Group and Jamla Records to bring fans his latest street album, Heat Writer II. The project features 18 brand new cuts from the emcee also known as Ben Ready, including reader-approved J. Dilla tribute “Plan B.” Soul Council, Khrysis, 9th Wonder, Amp and Ka$h provide instrumentals to match HaLo’s presence and energy. Guest appearances come courtesy of labelmates Sundown, Rapsody, Thee Tom Hardy, Sean Boog, Big Remo, GQ, TP and Skyzoo.
