With the release of his third solo album Selling My Soul, Masta Killa has become one of the most consistent solo artists in the Wu Tang Clan family. But back in the early 90s, Killa was just another hungry young emcee looking for an opportunity. In a new video interview, MK recalls those early years of the Wu, including the story behind his entry into the group on the classic track “Da Mystery Of Chessboxin”. Killa also explains why he’s the only Wu member not featured on the group’s breakout single “Protect Ya Neck”, plus GZA’s reaction to MK’s first written rhymes.
