Richard Harris also known as “Kemikel Ali” has been rapping since age 14. Born and raised in southwest Philadelphia his inspiration of hip hop came from his upbringing in the harsh urban environment and artist such as Nas, Mobb Deep, Redman, State Property and Wu Tang. He grew up under the influence of family members The Hip City Swingers, a rap group out of the early 90′s from Philadelphia, PA. They have the hottest, rarest rap song called “I’m the Man” and are currently residing in Philadelphia. Kemikel Ali has just released 3 singles (What Good Is Love), (I SPAZZ) and (WHAT YOU WANT) on indie label 58 Street Records. Being produced by Gruff ceo of 58 Street Records and former (producer/engineer) of Hip City Swingers and being endorsed by “State Property’s” Peedi Crakk on single “I SPAZZ” and OG Philly Freeway on “WHAT YOU WANT”.
