Roots drummer / frontman Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson will executive produce a new television series for VH1 & Palladia called “Soundclash”. Hosted by Diplo, the show will feature performances from three musical acts on one stage, ranging from established A-listers to rising up and comers. The first episode, airing July 23rd, will feature a jam session with Lil Wayne, Fallout Boy, and London Grammar, while the second will join Ed Sheeran, Sia, and Grouplove, on July 30th. The groups are expected to perform a series of covers, hits, and collaborations.
