From the folks at Biz 3: “Digital poster-child and producer wunderkind Baauer has announced his ß EP out November 4th on LuckyMe. The Brooklyn based producer has been around the world many times since his last release with LuckyMe who put out Dum Dum, Baauer’s last official solo release, in September 2012. Just 6 months later they found themselves helping Harry & his team deal with the viral phenomenon that saw an underground free giveaway mp3 championed by Rustie, Jackmaster, Modeselektor, EL-P & more – became YouTube fodder for millions. The first US singles number one created from streaming scans saw Harry take to the cover of Billboard Magazine.Well it’s been a journey, but the once Trouble & Bass intern making music in his bedroom has now travelled the world headlining festival stages. Shrugging off accusation of ‘one hit wonders’ – there was a noticeable effortless-abandon in the Baauer releases since “Harlem Shake” – throwing USB’s of rough mp3s into the crowd, and giving away music via twitter DM for fans who cracked his website. There’s been studio time with Pusha T, Tim Vocals, Jay Z, Travis $cott and Just Blaze. With this return to full releases it becomes clear that making stadium ready dance music isn’t a problem for Harry; something to keep his avid fans happy and importantly offer a taste of new influence for Rodrigues.

Here we have a five track ep combining the myriad percussion recorded on his travels around the globe – flipped into R&B, Hip Hop, Instrumental Grime & dare I say it, Trance. With ‘One Touch’ featuring Alunageorge & Mike Will’s hot new Mississippi group Rae Sremmurd (“No Flex Zone”) – we have an R&B cut that evokes Ashanti’s ‘Only You’ for 2014: massive trance lead and deep programmed kicks drums with Aluna sonning the two brothers Rae with her closing verse. The ß EP is exploding with new ideas and smart intricate programming – a new blueprint for one of dance music’s boldest young talents.”
